    Dear friends,

the respect and honor for the ancestor in a disappearing duty in the modern mens life. Even in Buddhism today it is a kind of tabu theme in “civilized” countries. As Khmer people are still trying to life very close to nature, there are many customs. For sure many of them come “just” from some believe systems or are just practiced as usual, but there are also very reasonable facts behind.
Maybe you like to share some of your knowledge even it is just known without the deeper meaning behind.

The accepted and tolerance as the devotion regarding the ancestors is very important as they are “parts” of us. Rejecting or disrespect one self does not free one self.

Feel free to share your knowledge.
