Cha Phous Jrouk

Have you had this dish? I had it once at a restaurant and loved it. As always, I try to imitate at home. Mine came out pretty good. I’m quite satisfied.

I first prepared the phous jrouk “pha lau” style, meaning it was simmered in spices. Then I stir fry w/ my mix of sauces.

Stir fry pig stomach with pickled mustard greens

Korbie its so yummy..make this many times but never try pak-lov style tho

Have you tried it with jrook kvai, thea kvai or even pak lov pous-vean jrook..its very good also plus no need to add all the seasonings cuz the flavors in meat already:)

Yeah, I love thea kvai and pak lov as is too.

Not surprisingly, they have spices inna package for this dish. It’s similar to chinese five spices. Yanno…cloves…cinn.

YUMMY!! Had the best cha pous chrouk in Cambodia.

Did you pak lov the pous chrouk yourself, Korb?
