I was just looking at my workout schedule and realized I work out about 6 days a week (everyday except Sunday). My workouts usually range from 1 to 3 hours depending upon whether or not I take classes.
My question is…how many days a week do you workout? Is working out too much NOT good for you as well? Should I decrease my workout?
I used to do it 6 days a week, but now only about 5 days a week. It ranges from 15-45 minutes a day depending on what I’m doing.

I found that the more i workout the more I eat. I workout as a stress reliever most of the time usually 5-6 times a week. I do miss days sometimes but I make it up later. The hardest part is staying motivated.

You ever find yourself not sheding the lbs you want whenever you workout harder? I found that working out more made me gain lbs. Maybe muscle. If you are trying to stay thin, just watch what you eat and work out moderately. Don’t go overboard.
It’s so much easier to maintain wieght if you watch what u eat, have portion control and excercise moderately vs. eating a lot and working out too hard.

Hehe, I’d actually do the same if i had the time. Or if my break at work is longer.

You’re working out too much Darina, the human body has its process of cell development, and how your body function.
You can work out 4 days a week, but 6 days is too much and you’re only ending up wasting energy, it can also cause problem in your health.
I’ve seen people that work out like that get sick.
just started to work out but compared to yall im a noob. i only do 1/2hr of jogging just around my lake. u got that right motivation is the key and im lacking that. i too am lazy. be nice if i had someone to go running with.

I seriously had an exhausting day yesterday so I decided NOT to go to the gym. My body is telling me to stop working out so much! Thanks Pengchon.

Yah, I used to kill my body back in highschool so i’d be used to working out that much again. I was training for something, now I dont really have much of a purpose hehe.
If typing counts as an exercise, I exercise 3+ hours a day 7 days a week. And today I actually walked around in my backyard for a whole 5 minutes, what a workout!

i admire your mind discipline, i think it takes a great deal of discipline to follow your workout schedule. my question is probably not relevant to your question but i hope you don’t mind me asking it. do you have a partner or a group of people to work out with? i’m trying to get myself into a workout routine but am having a hard time. thanx in advance.

I don’t workout at all. I haven’t exercised since high school. I usually eat and then sleep straight after hehe lols. I’m so unfit. :O
I wish i was more like you MissDarina and had the motivation to workout 1-3 hours, 6 days a week.

I’m lazy really I am. But I’ve been trying to hit the gym at least twice a week. Just to work on my abs and leg..
6 days a week 3 hrs per day. one muscle group per day including abs and cardio!!! want to be like them guys from the movie 300!!!

3 hrs? damn.
I go to the gym 4-5 times a week. I usually do 40-60 min cardio (elliptical, thread climber), 10-15 min abs and weight lifting (three set of 15 reps with light free weight: 3-5 lbs only. I don’t want to bulk up), and 30 min sauna or steam room. I usually spend about 1.5 to 2 hours at the gym total.
