actually she is a plus for Cambodia, mainly because the Shinawatra family are close allies with Hun Xen. As you know her brother once held position as the Academic Adviser for Kampuchea during his time in exile from Thailand.
Now his sister is PM so she would be less likely to start confrontation and what not.
From what i see from the papers lately khmer and thai relations are up and troops are being sent home from the borders.

Next chapter is the combine teamwork for oil exploration with thailand.

I’m going to have to agree here. Jack, just because the troops are pulling out and talks of oils exploration is in place, does not mean that Cambodia is seen as an equal. Those that excel in chess attack silently.

Well you have to remember hun xen live through alot of hardship when he was younger, he experience being poor, in a war, and coming to power. He is not as dumb as you think, he is also using the shinawatra family for his own advantages too. The thai people and nation knows about the Hun Xen family and the shinawatra ties.
