No, not really! I just fantizise and want wear allllllllllllll the BEAUTIFUL traditional outfits…;)
Question for the ladies: Has any lady felt the same and wished to marry for the BEAUTIFUL khmer outfits? LOL. If I shall marry, I would not marry for that reason only. I can’t help wanting to wear the lovely khmer wedding clothes every time I attend a wedding or watches weddings on youtube. The clothes are soooooooooooooo BEAUTIFUL!
P.S..Women’s responds ONLY, unless you men want to wear PRETTY khmer clothes, too!…:P
Same, not a good reason to get hitched! I actually don’t care for the Khmer traditional outfits. They are stuffy and uncomfortable. At my wedding I only wore two (I put up a fight!) because I didn’t want to MISS my wedding with 7+ dress changes. My favorite was actually wearing my white wedding gown. The Khmer outfit below was the best of the two I had to wear. My husband wore the watching groom ensemble. Simpler and easier to wear than some of the heavier outfits.

you dont need to get marry to wear that outfit. just go to one of the khmer wedding store or photo studio and wear it, take pic with it with any outfits u want. i want to dress as an apsara more :p
I know, I know! But, it’s so tempting…LOL..:p

Pink is pretty but not so much on a man. I remember my parent’s photo album, my dad’s pink traditional outfit was not very flattering especially against his darker skin tone.
I choose blue and a red outfit since they are both gender neutral and flattering on most skin tones. Red is also quite symbolic. Originally I wanted a simple gold and white outfit instead of the red outfit to match my cake topper but another bride had ruin the outfit the previous week.

When it comes to beauty and style, I prefer effortless chic. Even my white wedding dress was light weight enough my husband easily swept me on to the door floor. Well, I got married on the beach so my dress complimented the venue.
On your wedding day, you can pretty much decide what you want to wear and how many outfits. I had three dress changes in total because I didn’t want to miss a single minute of the most important day of my life.

Precious,
I don’t know you, or anyone here. Haven’t been here in decades. But listen to me. Don’t get married. Do it only when you’re ready for hell. Marry yap nas lol.
I’m only joking though. If you find the right guy, go for it. Or else, wait, especially if you’re still young.
i want to wear too! just can’t seem to find him =/ so at the moment i’ll just day dream

Hello, RoyalOrient! Indeed, pink is not flattering on men,but very nice on us women.hehe. Blue and red are nice colors as well. Simple is perfectly fine, infact, simplicity is awesome. It’s just I am a very girly girl. hehe. I agreed that the wedding experience is MOST important. Although, beautiful clothings is an experience as well, since it’s not everyday that we get to look like a PRIENCESS!…:D
I am sure you had a wonderful wedding!….:)
Oh, there are no khmer shops, however; there is a lady that brings clothes from Cambodia for weddings. I just can’t go to her, unless I want to get married.hehe.
Sounds fun, sapphirise! I bet you looked, LOVELY! Care to share some pix of yourself in absara clothings?..:D
