I actually like her and her voice. I didn’t understand her style at all. C’mon the clothes were terrible. I was rooting for her and was glad that she made that far in the competition. I don’t know, I have mixed feeling about her…but I’m glad to see a khmer on American idol this year.
i dont think non of us are losing sleep over ms.pha psychological theatrical performance. this is an online community. defend your pple but be ready to take some tongue lashing especially if you are somewhat of a celeb,.

To tell you the truth… I don’t feel sorry for her at all. All because of her style and the way she protrayed herself.
I know thats not how she is like in real life, I know she was just trying to be different. Next time, if she decides to do the compitition again, just let her be herself.
I have no sympathy or support for “fake” people. Theres a reason why Kelly Clarkson and the other Idols won in the past…. there “real.” They are themselves. They are average people with talent… not Freaks.

american idol is a competition
and in a competition you will be judged not only by randy, paula and simon but
by the viewers
if you can’t take the heat than stay out of the spotlight
she was horrible.. your sister in other words, totally sucked.. learn to take criticism. if i was Simon, she wouldn’t have make it to Hollywood. i would probably tell her to go back to Srey Sophuns Karaoke bar..continue her career there..hey what the heck!..maybe she’ll become a very talented Wedding Singer..
This is KC and it’s not a supportive “community” whatsoever. It’s a site where people, generally Khmer people “over-voice” their unsufficient opinions and think other Khmers would care it about. Do you think I care enough what other Khmers think of me when I post my unsufficient opinions on this site. I just come on this site to get kicks. The act of Khmers supporting other Khmers in any field is nonexisting, unless it benefits the person doing the supporting.

I myself, did not watch American Idol that night but i didn’t know a khmer girl would be performing. I would’ve cheered her on! Anyway, many people get kicked off of American Idol. Sometimes even the GOOD SINGERS do too for many reasons. At least she tried ya know. I’m not sure about all the bashing shes gettin but i know its totally wrong. Then again, people on TV always get bashed. Damn, if you think she sucks, okay who cares? Have some damn common courtesy. Youre pissing people off obviously. I was under the impression that khmer connection was supposed to friggin connect khmer people! Bashing on someone isnt gonna get you anywhere.

Just to let you all know, I am not offended one bit by anything anyone says…everyone is entitled to their own opinion and it should & does not matter to me. But lemme tell ya, it’s really nice to know your sibling got yo back!!! lmfao!
