Is it a good time now to withdraw money from stock market funds?

I was just wandering that: Is it a good time now to withdraw money from the stock market? I had some money in mutual funds and I’m thinking of closing the account because it’s already mature now, plus I lost nearly half of it just this year alone. Please give some advice, thanks.

saviy,

refer to this thread: http://khmer.cc/community/t.c?b=2&t=1159

people are giving good advice there. If you do not need immediate money, leave it there for the long term gain.

Sounds a bit depressing. I am not an expert, but if you pull out now, and the market picks up the strength later, then you might miss the opportunity. Again, I don’t know…right now it looks really bad.Risks equal returns, there is no difference to gambling.

I suggest that you should invest your money by put into the PC Bank Account…Becuz it gives us 4.5% in every year with your amount $1,020. So!! we get a higher interest more than another banks…

I do that too…I’ve $6,000 in there and every year I get interest about $166.5. In 5 years tearm is $832.5. In 10 years tearm is $1,665…Well!! its better than for nothing…

hmmm, no. it’s a good time to buy. The more it goes down, the more you should buy world-class businesses incredibly and cheaply. :D

Good to point that out.
Investing in some stock market also pay divident. Some of the stock pay more than 10% (such as hrp or pwe) which is much higher than regular financial banking :) except high risk involves high return :D
