    Hello,

    As its the season where my apples starts growing I was wondering on how to make kapek. i suddenly had a craving for it.

    Just need a rough guide on the ingredients and how to make it.

    DAMNNNNit just looking at this post makes my mouth water…

    This is recipe for Kapet

    -1 table spoon of Kapet
    -2 chopped up thai chilli peppers
    -1 squirt of fish sauce
    -1 squirt of lime
    -pinch of msg
    -pinch of sugar

    ^I couldn’t help but laugh because of Homer lol.

    Anyways… When I crave it, I just have my apples with plain kapek. Nothing added. Nothing fancy.

    No apples here but got plenty of loquats in my backyard. My place will soon reek of fermented shrimp paste. This thread’s drool factor is off the scale, yo!

    I don’t add much either.
    I use the dark dry one and just add some minced chillies and a tiny bit of hot/warm water to make it not too dry. Mix it up. Done. I had 4 green mangos last night with my kapeek. Plan on having more tonight.
