I don’t know if anyone on here is interested, but our elders probably would be. Recently, I came across a website about the Khmer Air Force. As it turns out, my grandfather is actually in a few pictures (1958 Class 3). It’s a great source of information for our generation, who doesn’t know a whole lot about the brave men who defended us. I hope that the following generations can learn from it as well. Here’s the URL: http://www.khmerairforce.com/AAK-KAF/AVRK/P-AVRK-B-EN.html

This webpage is a great tribute to those that have sacrificed for the country.

I saw my uncle’s name in the class of 1971. In his case, he died at the hands of khmer rouge cowards.

thank so much for sharing. this is very interesting but also sad that currently Cambodia is moving backward instead of forward. Our country were so much richer back in the 60s/70s

I haven’t had the chance to show this to my grandfather yet. Some of the pictures posted, I grew up seeing and hearing stories about. One of the pilots in my grandfather’s class even attended my wedding, which I thought was awesome. I really do hope that the following generations find inspiration in what the past did.

I’ll show this to my dad since he is Cambodian military buff, he knows a lot of people in the military, what rank etc because he was in the army. He came to the US in 1975 with many of them.

Babydollish Cambodia still has an Air Force, but it isn’t grand as like the days of yesterday.
