U need to move out..lol. Anyways, I just wanna say that for ppl who complain that they can’t get out of the ghetto. There are countless of Hispanics who came from way down south, pass Mexico, and they live in nice areas of the country….we all can’t do the same?? I understand the fear of moving…but fear doesn’t = incapable.

Is your school located in West Hollywood or something?
Back in middle school, I remember getting sent to a meeting with a bunch of other asian kids and the principle was talking about gang and shit cus of the red pandemic among the asians. The thing is..i had ONE red shirt and did’t even hang out with those asian kids. The guy who supposedly picked us out of the crowd was an idiot.

We wore yellow becuaase it represent …all 30 of us banned from wearing this color for the senior panorama pic…
And freaken esse were wearing white t-shirt and they stand out in the picture that was so mess up..and freaken most of them didn’t even graduate…:/

One of the partnering high schools my youth org works with have very similar (ludicrous) rules. I find it problematic that one (of many) rules posted suggested that “all gang affiliated attire” are banned. Which implies that any article of clothing can be deemed “gang-affiliated”.
It is ridiculous that schools take such passive ways of dealing with the issues of delinquency/gangs. They are merely grasping at the surface of the issue. As if gangs were not formed from various political, economic and social institutions and now effecting economically disenfranchised communities and communities of color. There is much more depth to the problem and yet schools choose to mere touch the surface of this issue.

That’s interesting. We never had any so called “gang colours” in our high school. We had to wear school uniform anyway.
I’ve recently been told it’s an Asian gang from Minnesota.
