I’m a senior software developer at a small consulting company called Bridge4Solutions in Needham, MA. I develop boring billing and financial software for law firms and consulting firms. So I much rather be teaching and writing instead.

I would rather be doing humanitarian work in Cambodia, but have to put food on the table some how.

I work for the United States Department of Defense (yes, the president is my boss) as a medical and psychiatric social worker. I work under neuropsychiatry, providing clinical work with soldiers from Iraq and Afghanistan (specifically TBI – Traumatic Brain Injury and PTSD).

Although I love my job I would rather be a professional dancer on Broadway…I can dream, can’t I?

awesome! :) speaking of Afganhistan, one of our passionate volunteers is commanding an elite of Afgan and US soldiers. the work you do must be mentally exhausting. our recent KRT public forum opened up many wounds..PTSD..many of us including myself.

    I work for a very weird..yet cool..company :)
    The MITRE Corporation.
We don’t sell anything..we dont make anything..all we are just think tanks.
We’re one of the FFDRC..Federally Funded Research and Developement Center for the government..
So..we have no bottom line. We just sit there and think..and research new ideas and such…
So..I can’t really give you my title..cus it changes on a daily basis..dependending on the type of projects that I am in and what branch of the government those funds are from..
    For example..
for the US Army – Battle Command Systems Engineering Dept..I am a Senior Info Systems Engineer
for the Department of Defense – Central Technical Support Division – The test bed of the entire army systems – I am a Senior Network Engineer
For this joint project between the U.S and the South Koreans..I am a Principle Engineer of Network Systems
    And the list goes on…
See..I told you..you won’t believe me if I told you..

I was an IT manager for a career center about 10 years ago, it’s a state government program, so I know the kind of game they play with budgeting, title, etc. I was the IT manager or program manager depending on who the funding source is and who’s asking and why. I grew tired of the politics and got into the private sector and only regret that I didn’t do it sooner.

I am a future Donut Shop and PHO/Thai/Khmer Food Resturant owner. I am currently under training on how to operate these businesses. I wouldn’t want to be anything else, because these jobs give me the flexibility to relax and be with my families.
