My girlfriend and I ran 2 miles outside late afternoon today. It was a nice run to be able to be outdoors…

Do you like to jog/run outdoors or inside on a treadmill?

HOnestly i hate the treadmill, i keep thinking im gonna forget im on a treadmill and trip and fall off. Treadmill is a lot easier. I like running outside a lot better. Much more fun imo. Even if it’s running outside your company parking lot.

treadmill are so lame Darina. Outside is so much better because your environment changes constantly. Fresh air also adds to the experience.

I haven’t been on a treadmill in awhile… I like outdoors because you can’t just press the STOP button and you have to eventually get back to Point A so you push yourself more.

i like outdoors because i dont feel like a hamster on a wheel. but i like indoors because its convenient to run, then lift right after. I prefer running on the sand so its easire on your joints

I run at a very large community park so I get to see the soccer games, children playing, baseball games, tennis matches etc. I like seeing new things but the only disadvantage is the fact that my allergies kill me (esp the pollen). Anyway, running indoors has its perks too…like watching the tv and not having to worry about the allergies…

I guess it depends on how I feel. If my friend runs w/ me, she and I enjoy running around the neighborhood.

i like to take walks outside, but i like to jog on a treadmill.

i am more focused on a treadmill, so i get a slightly better workout because i can increase/decrease the incline and speed.

Whereas, when i jog outside…i tend to get distracted and stop often to look at stuff like flowers and rocks and insects/wildlife. i’m terrible jogging outdoors- i stop more than i jog.

Well if you run right next to the water it’s not too hard cause the water smoothens the sand.

I love running on dirt trails, but Stay away from hard roads.
The repetitive, unvarying stresses
on your muscles and joints can lead to frequent injuries.

ditto on that. and i absolutely love the programs on the threadmill. i’m able to force myself to break a sweat and it feels more like working out.

if i’m outside, it’s for pure pleasure. i have a small attention span as well, especially if the weather is beautiful. and when it’s not, i don’t want to be outside.

running outside > running inside
fresh air >> stuffy
natural > not natural
see different things > see same things
free > not free
interesting > can never be interesting

if you love to run, you’ll run outside.
