Searching for a thai movie

Thanks Phanna for the summary. My mother and I saw this movie together. She liked it alot because of the storyline of how Benz’ grandmother fell in love with Andrew’s dad who was about 20 years younger than she was. I thought Benz was really mean in the movie and Andrew was very soft spoken to her.

Yes, we have been envied for our nicest hair and that our culture is based upon respecting elders and treating people nice. Also we have beautiful and unique wedding ceremonies!

Yeah, our khmer wedding ceremonies are the best! You get to dress up like royalty for a day. And I love how we’re family oriented….and we value our family and our parents. I would never let my mom live in a nursing home. Once I get on my feet, land my first career after I finish school….I’m going to take care of my mom and songkun her for all she’s done for me! You can replace anything in life, but you only get one set of parents.

Vanna, you’re so appreciative of your parents. I feel the same way too. I owe it to my parents for raising me so well in the USA. I have seen many other parents who raised their kids with all their nickles and pennies when they were young and turn out that their children neglected them. It’s a shame. I love my parents with all my heart.

We are very family oriented people! Like the saying goes, “If you marry a person, you’ll marry the whole family”. hehehe

I love Khmer wedding ceremonies. I love sitting in and watching till it ends.

Me too! If it’s for family or a loved one, I don’t mind sitting in a khmer ceremony from beginning to end!

I think Chakrit’s fiance has a weird smile. She’s smiling but not really smiling. I say she’s passable-average. lol.

You can defintely tell it’s not a genuine smile.

i was at the thai store like maybe a week or two ago and they were watching the news from thailand about mam-the baby, willy & his gf/fiance, chakrit & his fiance, there were a couple of other couples and i just had to ask who was with who and such.

Ok thanks! We’ll know soon when they’ll be bells ringing for Chakrit and his fiance. Gosh, why can they paired up with other celebs they starred movies with?
