I tried to check the website, but i guess it’s down? For some reason, it didn’t resonate??? I thought it was powerful as well and I tried to spread it across the community but failed. I think that a lot of Khmer adults don’t understand it and got turned off. They really loved the PBS one becuz it was easier to understand, even if u didn’t understand english. U can see mother crying and kid walking to airport, then living in Cambodia. Also, straight refugees failed in getting ppl to feel sympathy becuz those kids look like they deserved to be deported.

Deportess????? This is how we mess up more within are country. That what the white man system want. These deportess get sent back from what they use to do and be here. When they go back they starts thing down there that become western influences. I got a cousin that was deported. And now from last time i heard he has created his own group of thugs that hang out in Phnom penh..Such a shame :/

True. However, I think that if these guys were never left Cambodia in the first place, I doubt that they would be good…probably worst. They would be raping Khmer hookers and having sex with young children…that’s not Western culture. But yeah, nevertheless, it’s adding to Cambodia’s problems.

one of the returnees that was interviewed in that documentary went to my high school!! and lived in the same neighborhood my girlfriend lives in..small world. but yeah i tried to spread it around.. the really old folks seem uninterested in watching it. But the people who are 40 yrs old and younger watched it till the end. i felt especially sorry for the bald dude that wore the red jersey…seems like he has zero hope for the future.
