Nice!
I agree with rexa. That sky is wild. Is it possessed? haha
You should make more paintings and post them here. I’ll try to paint more.
Lol yea i dont know why the sky is so crazy, but i kept going because i love the colors.
Anyways get your butt up and start painting guys ![]()
a mighty night:

i forgot to add, the above was something i made sometime ago.
i do want to paint something new, so hopefully sometime this week
Jack Tsang – what program are you using? I’m using artrage. I use photoshop only when I’m editing/designing something. I prefer using artrage to make stuff like the paintings i posted so far. Since you posted about Mario (the game character), have you heard of a program called Colors!? They have it for the nintendo ds/3ds and I guess iphone(?). I had it for the nintendo ds and used it a lot on the train to and from work. I thought it was a great simple software. Really enjoyed using it.
Hahah chlaat meh, im actually using a 3DS with the colors app its better than the ds version because they enhanced with multi layers.
Also viewing the image in 3D is just amazing! In terms of photoshop, its merely used to touch up major dislike ![]()
Also i like the picture drawn above, i really like the thick paint brush style.

Jack- the brushstrokes in your painting looks like something from Colors!, so I kinda assumed that it was Colors! but didn’t want to say it and then be wrong bout it, haha.
I don’t have a 3ds, but when I do get one, Colors! will be one of the things I will get right away. I take public transportation a lot, so something like Colors! really mean a lot to me.
Post more.
another floating island (I rewatched the movie Castle in the Castle recently, felt inspired):

I have a smart phone. Can I paint on there? I take the public transportation daily. I call it my party train. LOL!! I turn on my MP3 really loud with my earpieces on and play my “Shoot bubbles” game to passed time.

It looks like a cold night out.

The color is warm but I don’t think the floating island is warm. I would not like living here. Nice use of paint stroke.

rexa- thank you for your comments. I’m glad you pointed out the house isn’t inviting. I wanted that warmth feeling, so it’s nice to know when I fail at capturing a certain feeling. Haha. What would you suggest I do to make it more inviting? As for the night scene, you see a cold night but I actually see a calm night for a romantic walk. I guees it can be a cold calm night. Haha.
I say, if you enjoy doodling and you take the train/bus all the time, it’s nice to have some painting app as a distraction.
Something I didn’t mention…
This painting on my personal computer screen has this faded color look I don’t like. I’m looking at the image on a school computer right now, and it has a nice display of rich colors. Now I’m wondering why can’t my computer screen be as nice the school’s.
No problem. Thanks for sharing. I like looking at pictures and artwork.
I guess some lights coming from some of the windows would make it seem like somoene lives there. Right now it kind of reminds me of Alcatraz Island. I like how you try to liven up the island with some flowers.
I’m going put Ipad on my christmas wish list so I can doodle.

Sorry for slacking off guys, anyways been busy studying some other stuff, but once i finish ill paint and throw something nice up to the gallery.
I didn’t know we had a gallery…
yeah, post something up. I have nothing. No inspiration. No desire to make a new piece. Hopefully some spark will happen sooner rather than later.
I have some water color painting I would like to show off but I don’t have a site where I can store my pictures on beside FaceBook. Any advice without creating a new account?
I would also like to mention. I was out and about in Union Square this afternoon and they had a little prainting gallery set up out there. It made me think of you guys and how it would be great if we were here to critiqued some of the painting together.

Ah, it’s nice to see this thread with more replies…
You guys are talking a lot about your art, but you are not posting anything ![]()
I will try to paint something later tonight (hopefully). Someone asked about where to upload pics, I’m not sure. I’m using Tinypic but that place doesn’t seem very good. Some of paintings are not showing up in this thread
If someone has a suggestion for a better place, please share.
Post some artwork! ![]()
My painting and photography. Let’s see if this works.

Corn maze? So, that’s what those yellow fields are! I never knew that; I kind of thought they were long grass that happened to be yellow. I learned something new today.
Upon looking at my painting again, I don’t like it. I took the safe way to make it. I will try to challenge myself more next time… or I’ll never grow.
LOL!! I think if you did not have those green hills your wheat field would look shorter. All in all it’s not a bad picture but I do agree you can do better.
