    do you exercise?

I don’t want to exercise. The only exercise I get is from short walks and from looking at work-out photos in magazines.

Still need to lose tummy fat.
I find men with flabs unattractive but he said (with a grin) “speak for yourself, you have a bit of fat too. You know with the Maccas you treat yourself to each week, we’re not surprised, right?”
    :(

    Mary knows her shït.

MYTH: counting “calories in vs. calories out” for weight loss.
Fact: Macronutrients – proteins, carbs, healthy fats – these things matter. The type of food you’re eating matters!

If you don’t get enough protein, your body will use your muscles as an energy source leaving the fat intact, aka the “skinny-fat” body. By only eating junk food, your body will never achieve the physique you’re aiming for. Aerobics will be a waste after a session of Five Guys and Fries.

You can slim your waist just by eating proper foods.

I recommend those gym classes like ZUMBA (lots of hip shaking fun!). Also, try any RPM/spinning class (those are killers but great). The classes offered at many gyms are awesome! It’s great for those that do not know what to do when they are on the floor. It’s like a personal trainer in a sense. Learn from it and modify it base on your fitness level. It also spice up your workout routine. I throw in a couple of classes a week such as kick boxing and hot yoga into my workout routine.

I call it hot yoga but others call it Bikram yoga. You do yoga in a heated room. My instructor sets the room temperature to 100. I love it!!

So many friend registered me for a free trial at her gym, which allow for 3 free passes. The gym folk have called and I am booked in for a body balance class this Wednesday. With the other two free passes, I think I’ll try body step and yoga stretch. I know they’re light activities, but you’ve got to start somewhere, or nowhere at all :)

    Body balance:
Controlled breathing, concentration and a carefully structured series of stretches, moves and poses to music create a holistic workout that brings the body into a state of harmony and balance.

    Body step:
The best butt and thigh workout. An addictive class with great music and levels to cater for everyone. Body Step delivers results fast combining rhythm and energy with an effective total body workout.

    Yoga stretch:
This class will move your body through a complete series of seated and standing yoga poses designed to increase flexibility, balance and range of movement. Breathing exercises and a final relaxation will promote stress reduction and mental clarity.

i had join, waste of money. for me, i lack discipline. I’ll try to cut the sweets and carb. I’m going back to my walking. i live near a park. After the walk, come home, do some steps and sit-up. Thats the plan, again..i lack discipline. :-) we will see.

Oh my gosh, my kind of gal!

Haha, I don’t excersie but I would love to. While I was pregnant I had planned to go to the gym when my daughter turns 6 months to work out all that extra pregnant fat, but sadly, she’s 9 months and I haven’t joined yet. I was hoping I could get her onto formula at 6 months but she’s still not taking it. So..I have my own personal trainer at home (kickboxing hubby) to train me and we did one day of major work out (well in my standards seeing as I haven’t done anything for years) and my legs were sore for three days. The push up and sit ups weren’t that bad, it was the squating that got me!
Well, legs are all better now so I’m ready to get back to work! I’ve been eating healthier and not snacking as much so I hope I can do it this time!!
