Flag mean nation. Any country without a flag mean open for invasion..thus why cambodia, thailand, laos, vietnam, burma, philipines, malay etc south east asia where invaded….khmer never had a flag until the first french had colonize southeast asia..

Funny. France got a nice flag, but Hitler still invaded it.
A flag does not equal a nation. The concept of a Khmer nation exist without a Western influence flag.
The Countries have the flags if the population are not strong battle, their countries are still occupied from another’s. The flag doesnt mean anything. it’s just country representative thats it.
No what I mean..is that if a.country today.that not recognize it can and will be invaded..that the reason why they invaded a lot.of Asia..they thought it was just tribe of people in.certain area with no.ruler..now.they know there is a ruler…

I think the Khmers did have a flag or banner of some kind, but that was long ago and it was probably lost.
