Tekken 6, Gran Turismo 5, Final Fantasy, and Metal Gear Solids are the reason why I’m returning my Xbox360 gift for a PS3 instead. PS3 basically has most Xbox360 games except for Halo and Gears of Wars, which will or has been released on PC. First person shooters are better on PC anyways, and the Nintendo Wii “could” be the best system for “FPS” if they get their act together. I’m no sony fanboy, just a fan of the games mentioned especially Gran Turismo, tried Forza did not like it, and not a fan of Xbox titles so far.

Gears of War is a 3rd person shooter.

BTW, as of right now, the 360 is a better choice hands down.

I bought the PS3 for the movies..It cost more buying the actuall stand alone blue ray player..

Everyone I know that have both prefers XBox 360. I only have the XBox 360 and had no problems with it. Only incentives that the PS3 has is the BluRay stuff, and let’s be frank, who buys a video gaming console to play movies?

Yeah right now…But the only thing that’s worth playing that’s exclusive to Xbox 360 was Gears of War which is now on the PC so not so exclusive, probably Halo 3 will be out in PC soon enough too.

You won’t be seeing this in the PC:

If only, then I we wouldn’t need to waste money on power consoles. (I know it’s just the Prologue version)

The only games on the list that is really worth mentioning is Gran Turismo 5 and Metal Gear Solid. The Final Fantasy series got gayer and gayer over the years, and Tekken even though is great- the fanbase for it isnt really that big as it used to be- to be a system seller. Most tekken sequels really isnt that much different from their prequels. Tekken 5 itself really isnt that much different from tekken 2, the fighting still feels really blocky. Gran Turismo isnt that impressive imo, it looks slightly better than part 3 and 4. Now everything on GT is more HD, meaning that you can see the small stuff better. There will always be car fanatics though. Also not really a big fan of MGS after part 1. What will keep MGS alive is Hideo Kojima’s great innovative ideas that will keep the game fresh, but i can’t say the same about the game’s storylines which gets too drama-queenish and lame.

I agree with most of what you’ve stated. I wish Tekken was a little more fluid and focused less on the graphics. Tekken 4 graphics are good enough. I like the fluidity found in Tobal in PS1, which I think Tekken could learn from. And GT never really improved since GT2. lol. But they got ferrari now so that’s something cool, and you can’t go wrong with putting new models in there. GT series “improvement” is like Madden NFL with less installments. I played better racing games like Ferrari 555 (don’t remember exact title) on DC. It just had that nice feel and sound to the game that I wish GT had. I didn’t see that in Forza on the original Xbox, in fact Forza felt so blocky it was like driving a block, so I was disappointed in it, and I’m assuming it’ll be the same in the Xbox360. As for MGS, the game imo is pretty boring; I mean how many bombs do you need to find and diffuse. I never really like MGS gameplay, I’ll play just for the storyline, which gets lame sometimes, but still the action scenes are just too cool to miss.

Majority of all multi-platform looks better on the XBox 360. Madden 360, Call of Duty, Rainbow 6, and about every single sports game.

Yeah, that’s what I’ve heard and seen through trailers too. The Xbox versions do look better. I’ve also heard that the PC versions look better than both. Overall though, there’s not that much of a significant difference to complain or care about. I mean it’s not like the Xbox 360 version makes the PS3 version look like the Nintendo Wii graphics. On another note, the Nintendo Wii graphics sometimes look like Gamecube graphics, not cool.
