Microsoft may care about Japan, But I as a consumer don’t. I just want games and hey if it means more RPGS then I am for it, but I can care less right now, because I am happy with the games I have right now.

BTW I am looking forward to a whole bunch of games for the 360 as well as the PS3 and I welcome the Blu-Ray add on.

But the arguement is with terms of sales and 360 hands down owns ps3 right now. case closed fanboy!!!! you even posted a friggin link to it, but yet you want to compare the wii to it when this thread is about ps3 and xbox360. stop your crying about ps3 laggin in overall sales and play your damn ps3 instead of posting useless, misleading sales info.

Thread says: XBOX vs. PS3

NOT

XBOX vs. PS3 vs. WII

I don’t now how simpler i can get!!!

Apparently, your beloved Microsoft does. They are trying though but the Japanese know better. People who play games developed by Japanese developers also care. Unless you only play FPS and RPG made by American? The Japanese market is a big part of this console war. I think part of the reason why the Xbox original isn’t doing as well as the PS2 is because the Xbox original never really did well globally, especially in Japan. It lacked the Japanese developers game. Mostly crappy FPS games and just ninja gaiden? lol.

Don’t worry about PS3 software sales; they haven’t gotten started yet. What titles are Xbox 360 fan boys like you looking forward to? The next Blu-Ray add-on. haha.

For some reason, I highly doubt you own a PS3. But if you do, I suggest you sell your Xbox 360. There’s no games on there that’s not also in either the PS3 or a PC. Do it before you get the RROD. lol.

As a consumer I care about Japan, I don’t want to end up just playing ninja gaiden.

Funny how my facts are useless when it doesn’t support your beloved Xbox 360? haha.

And don’t worry if I’m playing my PS3 or not. I don’t have to pay to play a game I already paid for. Why don’t you stop defending your beloved Microsoft and go play your Xbox 360 because you’re wasting your $49.99 fee.

LMAO!!!

Give up fan boy. In the market where you and I live:

Xbox 360: 11.11 million consoles sold
PS3:4.18 million consoles sold

This is from your source VGchartz.

For crying out loud look at the software sales!

It sucks that I have to defend 360 to a sony fanboy here, because I also own and play the PS3 but can’t help it when my good friend agent is infected with a deadly virus called fanboyism. This thread was started by a person who wants to know which console is better in terms of gameplay and graphics and yet we have my poor friend agent being really defensive here with other ppl when they only wanted to point out the truth, yet he can’t handle the truth.

Here is my final judgement of the PS3 and Xbox360:

Games available: Xbox360
Which multi-platform title looks and plays better: Xbox 360 (might change later)
In-game and online features: Xbox 360 (you do have to pay 5 bucks a month for xbox live)

Better system: PS3 (graphics capabilities) although no developer has taken advantage of that yet
Better Hardware features: PS3

Look at all my threads and look at all my posts. I have never once bashed PS3, yet he still claims i’m a xbox fanboy. I like my 360 and PS3. I only pointed out what was the truth and hey if i was wrong i’ll admit it. This will be my last reply and hopefully when I come back my poor friend agent will recover from that dreadful disease. Best of luck to ya!

BTW. Pick up MLB 08: The Show if you are a sports gamer. That game is the truth! BTW its only for PS3!!!

XBL Gamertag: Soeunster
PSN: Soeun or Soeunster (can’t remember since i’m never online with my ps3)

PS3 Sold Faster Than Xbox 360 In Same Period
02/20/2008
In a recent report released by VG Chartz, it was found that the Playstation 3 sold better in its first 14 months than the Xbox 360 did during the same period. According to VG Chartz, the Xbox 360 took four months longer to hit the 10 million units sold mark in its cycle than the PS3, which hit 10 million units worldwide in January. The numbers also show that the PS3 has been selling more consistently
worldwide, rather than the Xbox 360′s predominate strength in the North American market. February is turning out to be a whole host of good announcements for the PS3!

who care about Japan huh? You mean who cares about America if you’re talking about the Xbox 360 because it also needs to do better worldwide. As you can see, it’s worldwide sales that really count. Microsoft’s lost in HD format war is definitely going to hurt them even more.

There’s a reason why you don’t bash the PS3. There’s nothing to really bash about it except its price compared to the Xbox 360, but that doesn’t even matter considering all the “add-ons” you have to pay for including the 49.99 fee and the HD-DVD that doesn’t work anymore for the Xbox 360. If I remember correctly, you even need to buy a damn add-on to do wireless internet. PS3 comes with wifi. Nintendo Wii comes with wifi. Besides that, buying a PS3 is a deal if you’re going to buy it for Blu-Ray, and you get a technically superior system to the Xbox 360.

The reason I bash on the Xbox 360 is because there’s A LOT of reasons to bash on it. There’s the RROD because they’re cheaply manufactured. There’s the HD-DVD debacle where they left their 300,000 customers with a useless add-on. There’s the 49.99 yearly fee just so you can play a game you already paid for so you can have ‘extra’ features that basically not even worth it. There’s only FPS games for that crappy system. There’s the part where they are only doing well in America, meaning less developers for it. There’s Microsoft!

There’s so many problems with it that I have no clue why you’re defending it. I really think only a Xbox fan boy would defend that crappy system. Even Xbox 360 owners wouldn’t defend it after it gave them RROD.

I could care less if Sony does well or not. I’m just happy that Microsoft is doing poorly. lol. Microsoft has no business in the gaming industry. Just like it had no business in the HD format war. They need to stick to making softwares not hardwares. Even that they suck, look at Vista. lol.

you also forgot to mention that the xbox elite, that has a small chip was in order to prevent the RROD has it’s own problem. Ppl complain abou tthe cd drive spinning soooo fast that it shatter their games.

I really want to buy an xbox 2 to play games with my friend, but there is soooooooo many freakin problem with it.

I guess by the numbers, American are stupid for buying crappy products. Or maybe the ppl’s standard are lower than the world…

Like agent said, the only flaw with ps3 is the price… that’s the only thing stopping me from buying it.

This is ps3 year (look at 2008 game lineup :) ). I expect the ps3 sales to pick up in America (bluray ftw) and overtake the 360 in world wide sales.

You can say that again.

The Xbox 360 is a rip-off. HD-DVD that doesn’t work, another add-on for wifi, add-on fee to play online, total cost would end up being more than a PS3. RROD probably 50% or MORE of their system. Microsoft should be recalling their poorly engineered system, not wait for returns. And you have to pay a yearly fee of 50 bucks just to have fun with it. To me that’s like never paying off or really buying something because you’re still paying for it because the sad thing is the only games really worth playing on the Xbox are online games. Even their Xbox Live server went down and yet people (mostly Americans) still continue to pay for it. Don’t these people know they’re getting ripped off?

please don’t say anything else about the 360 becuase it makes you sound stupid. you really don’t know the facts, do you? you can purchase a 13 month live for $40. do the math. that’s $3.07 cents a month. THREE FREAKIN’ DOLLAS, are you that broke that you can’t afford that?

another fact, the servers were not completely down. it was bogged down that some were able to get on while others had to wait. again, $3.07 cents a month into 31 days, that’s 9 cents. people lost out 27 cents. OMFG!!!1111 microsoft realized this and gave everyone a free live arcade game for free, so a $5 for loosing out $.27 is a pretty damn good trade off.

you’re the only one getting ripped off for putting down a great service for which you have no experience of.

folks, don’t let fear mongerers who know nothing of the truth steer you away from a fine product. and for the record, the 360 has more games. now, if you excuse me, i’m about to fire up my ps3 and watch hitman in blu-ray.

pswii60 FTW.

Khalir, you pay $40 for 13 months not $3.08 per month. There’s actually a difference. So people who are busy like me who don’t play as much games as you geeks will be paying for months that I’ll never play. I don’t want to waste 40 bucks so I can play online my Xbox 360 for probably a week or two. With the PS3, I’ll play online whenever I please. Is there a service in the Xbox Live for people like me or just geeks like you who play games 24/7?

agent, i see where you’re coming from, but it sounded like you were bashing a great service in defense of free. free is never better than fee. no one can honestly say free over the air tv programming is better than fee based subscription service like cable or satellite. free netzero based dial up is NEVER better than fee based verizon fios or cable/dsl.

and yes, there is a live service that is free. it’s called xbox live silver. and yes, like the ps3 an wii version of their online service, it sucks just as bad as a 13 year old asia carrera giving a nj for the first time.

i think xbox live is the best gaming online service i’ve ever encountered and definitely worth it. Though its not as versatile as playing online on the pc, but everything works fine and everything is centered around finding a good match with another person. Totally better than some online games like ssb brawl on the wii, you can’t even choose the strangers you fight or change the game settings.

The Xbox live silver does not allow you to play games online, correct? You need gold to play games online. Why doesn’t M$ give service for people who just wants to play online, but don’t care for the “extra” features? If they had this service, do you think people will still pay for the “extra” features?

that is indeed true. anyway, when sony comes out with home (or shall we call it sony second life?) and if it’s half of what they promised and still able to keep it free, then that, my dear friend, will be the on-line revolution that will make ms take notice. until then, it’s 3.09 cents a month for me!!

Even though I am paying $40 for Live when I only play a couple hrs every couple weeks, I still enjoy it. There are plenty of things people spend money on that don’t get much usage.

I’v always favored Playstation over the xbox and Nintendo. I did buy both xbox360, and a ps3. However, I will have to favor the xbox360. Every game that has come out for the xbox and ps3, I’v always bought the 360 version. The interface on the xbox is so much nicer, as well as the online options. I still like the ps3, however right now it’s just collecting dust.
