Award details
- Cambodia recipients: 5 awards of $500 each per cycle
- US recipients: 2 awards of $1,000 each per cycle

- Applicants must submit a completed application form, school transcripts, curriculum vitae, and a 500-word essay describing the applicant, personal and career goals, and anticipated community contributions.
- CHPAA also administers the separate Dara Thong Memorial Scholarship ($1,000) through the same application process.
Eligibility
- Undergraduate students in the United States who are pre-health, including pre-med, pre-dental, pre-pharmacy, pre-nursing or nursing, and allied health students
- Students in Cambodia pursuing healthcare majors, including medicine, dentistry, pharmacy, nursing, and allied health
- Consideration is given to volunteer service in community services, NGOs, and healthcare organizations, as well as academic achievements
- Applicants closely related to CHPAA board members are not eligible
- Past CHPAA scholarship recipients are not eligible to re-apply
- Essays generated or enhanced by artificial intelligence software will disqualify the application
