Overview
The Center for Khmer Studies provides research fellowships to US scholars pursuing Cambodia-focused research, including comparative regional or wider international projects with research conducted in Cambodia. Fellows receive direct research funding, access to in-country resources, logistical support, and contacts for up to 11 months.
Eligibility
US citizens who are scholars in the social sciences or humanities and seek to conduct research focusing on Cambodia, or on Cambodia within a comparative regional context including Thailand, Laos, Vietnam, Myanmar, and southern China, or a wider international context, with some research undertaken in Cambodia. Scholars who hold a PhD are eligible for Senior Research Fellowships; current doctoral students are eligible for Dissertation Research Fellowships.
