Wat

Chùa Bâng Tone Sa (វត្តបឹងទន្សា)[1] is a Khmer Theravada Buddhist Wat in Tài Văn commune, Cần Thơ, Vietnam.[2]

Religious life

As of April 2026, Hòa thượng (Most Venerable) Thạch Sông was the abbot; he was also deputy head of the patriotic monks' association of Cần Thơ.[3] In September 2025, city leaders visited the Wat to offer greetings for Sen Dolta, the festival for ancestors, and gave it gifts.[2] That year the Wat was one of several in Cần Thơ that spent more than 500 million đồng on a new dugout ngo racing boat in place of a plank-built one.[4] In November 2025 its crew, Bâng Tonsa, raced in an open ngo regatta on the Nhiêu Lộc canal in Hồ Chí Minh City.[5]
