Chùa Prochumsakor
Chùa Prochumsakor (Chùa Khmer Phường 7) is a Khmer Theravada Buddhist Wat on Trần Phú street in Bạc Liêu ward, Cà Mau province, Vietnam.[1][2]
History
Before the 2025 reorganization the Wat stood in Ward 7 of the city of Bạc Liêu, which gave it its common name. In November 2023 it held its Kathina robe offering, sponsored by a family from Vĩnh Châu.[1]
Religious life
As of 2023 and 2026, the abbot was Thượng tọa (Venerable) Hữu Sầm Bass (also written Hữu Sam Bass).[1][2] On April 9, 2026, a provincial delegation visited the Wat with Khmer New Year (Chol Chnam Thmey) greetings and gifts for its committee and lay followers, and the abbot thanked them.[2]
