As of 2025, the abbot was Đại đức (Venerable) Danh Minh Tuấn. On June 14, 2025, the Wat and the provincial Fatherland Front launched a club at the Wat in which the monks lead lay followers in collecting and sorting waste and caring for the environment, with the abbot as its head.[1] Đại đức (Venerable) Danh Thuyền, deputy chief secretary of the provincial executive board of the Vietnam Buddhist Sangha, presented the decision founding the club.[1] The club aims to encourage lay followers and neighbors to collect and sort waste at the source, to hold awareness sessions and to teach ways of cutting plastic waste and recycling.[1]
