Current campaigns
This page lists active fundraising campaigns that support Khmer language, culture and community. Each campaign links to its own page on KhmerConnection, where you can read who is raising money, what it is for and how to give.
KhmerConnection does not collect, hold or handle any money. All donations go directly to the organization or its fiscal sponsor through their own donation page. A listing here is not an endorsement. Please check the organization's own information before you give.

What can be listed
A campaign can be listed here if it meets all of these:
- It has a clear Khmer connection. It supports Khmer language, arts, culture, heritage, education, religious life, or a Cambodian or Cambodian American community as a whole.
- It serves a community, not one person or family. The money goes to a program, a place or a group that many people use.
- It is run by a real organization. The organization is a registered nonprofit, a temple or community association, or a campaign with a named fiscal sponsor that is a registered nonprofit.
- It is public and clear. There is a published goal, what the money is for, and a deadline or time period.
- It gives through the organization's own channel. The donation link is on the organization's own website or its official campaign page.
What we do not list
Please do not add these, even for good causes:
- Personal or family fundraisers, such as funeral or memorial costs, medical bills, rent, travel or other help for one person or household
- Crowdfunding pages set up by an individual rather than an organization
- Political candidates, parties or election campaigns
- Raffles, lotteries, ticket sales or product sales, except where a listed organization runs them as part of its campaign
- Campaigns without a clear goal, purpose or responsible organization
- Anything that asks people to send money to a private person's account
If you want to help someone in need, please contact a local temple, community association or social service organization directly.
How to suggest a campaign
Use Suggest a change on the organization's page, or on this page, and include:
- the organization's name and website
- a link to the official campaign or donation page
- the goal and the deadline
- who receives the money, and its fiscal sponsor if it has one
A steward checks each suggestion against the rules above before anything is added.
How this list is kept current
- Campaigns are removed after their deadline passes.
- The organization's page is then updated with the outcome, where one is published.
- Totals raised change daily, so this page shows goals, not running totals. Check the campaign's own page for its latest progress.
