Khmer Girls in Action (KGA) is a Long Beach–based social justice organization led by Southeast Asian young women and girls, working on racial, gender, and economic justice.
History
Founded in 1997 in Long Beach, California. In March 2023, KGA purchased a multistory building to house its Youth Movement and Education Center.
Current programs
KGA runs leadership development, community-based research, community organizing, advocacy, arts, and healing programs. Documented alumni-to-office pathway across 29 years of youth pipeline.
