Khmer Maine is a Cambodian American community organization in Portland, Maine.[1] It offers programs and support services to improve the social and economic standing and quality of life of Cambodians and Southeast Asians living in Maine.[1] It grew out of earlier Cambodian associations in the state, including the Cambodian Community Association of Maine and the Union Cambodian Association.
History
The Cambodian Community of Maine, in Saco, appeared in a list of Cambodian associations in the United States.[2] As of 2014 the Union Cambodian Association in Portland had the mailing address P.O. Box 4061, Station A, Portland, ME 04101.[3]
