The Khmer STEM Global Network (KSGN) is a network of Cambodian and Cambodian American scientists and engineers.[1] It encourages Khmer students to enter science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM), which it sees as a path to economic opportunity, innovation and national development for Cambodia.[1] Its founder is Danith H. Ly, a professor of chemistry at Carnegie Mellon University.[2][3]
Activities
The KSGN Lecture Series presents members' different paths into science.[1] Each week the network profiles a featured member. On July 9, 2026, KSGN members met at the Royal University of Phnom Penh, where Dr. Sovannarith Korm met with Chit Kongnov.[1]
