Cambodian American journalist and memoirist, author of Ma and Me.
Putsata Reang is a journalist and author whose debut memoir Ma and Me was published by MCD/Farrar, Straus and Giroux in May 2022. Her reporting and essays have appeared in outlets including The New York Times, and she teaches memoir writing, including at the University of Washington School of Professional and Continuing Education. Ma and Me won a 2023 Pacific Northwest Book Award and was a finalist for a Lambda Literary Award and the Dayton Literary Peace Prize.
