Robert H. Lieberman is a documentary director and novelist who made the Cambodia portrait film Angkor Awakens.
Robert H. Lieberman is a documentary film director and novelist who has been a member of the physics faculty at Cornell University since 1980 (Cornell Chronicle). He directed and produced Angkor Awakens: A Portrait of Cambodia, a 90-minute documentary assembled from some 200 hours of footage and more than 150 interviews, which traces Cambodian history from Angkor through the French protectorate, the Vietnam War and the Khmer Rouge to the present (Cornell Chronicle; VOA Khmer). He earlier made the documentary They Call It Myanmar and has published novels including The Nazis, My Father and Me (Robert H. Lieberman).
