Cambodian lakhaon bassac performer regarded as one of the form's masters.
Sang Sarun was a performer of lakhaon bassac, the Cambodian popular theatre form that combines singing, spoken dialogue and stylised movement. A study published by the Center for Khmer Studies describes him as one of the form's well known performers and masters who promoted it during the 1960s. He is no longer living.
