Sok Visal is a Phnom Penh-based director and music producer who founded the label KlapYaHandz and the production company 802AD Films.
Sok Visal is a film director, producer and music-industry figure based in Phnom Penh, where he launched the production company 802AD Films in 2009 and founded KlapYaHandz, described as Cambodia's first hip hop and alternative music label (Focus Cambodia; Mekong Movies). He made his first feature, Gems on the Run, in 2013, directed and produced Poppy Goes to Hollywood Redux in 2017, and co-directed In the Life of Music with Caylee So in 2018 (Chinese Shadows). Alongside features he directs commercials, music videos and television work for Cambodian brands and artists (Focus Cambodia).
