Overview
The United Cambodian Association of Minnesota (UCAM) is the primary community organization serving Cambodian-American families in Minnesota. UCAM provides social services, refugee resettlement support, adult day care, bilingual immigration assistance, and cultural programming. Its adult day care is located in Inver Grove Heights, Minnesota.
History
UCAM was formed in January 1993 through the merger of two predecessor organizations:
The merger consolidated Cambodian-American community services in Minnesota into a single mutual-assistance association. UCAM was also historically referred to as the Cambodian American Association of Minnesota in some directories; that name is a synonym and directs to this page.
