Wat Antong Vien
វត្តអន្ទង់វៀន
Wat Antong Vien (វត្តអន្ទង់វៀន) is a Buddhist Wat in Antong Vien village, Kantuot commune, Chitr Borei district, Kratie.[1] It is also called Wat Muni Vannaram (វត្តមុនីវណ្ណារាម).[1]
Religious life
In 2025, a wooden bridge on the way to the Wat was repaired so that it could be used temporarily during Pchum Ben. The repair was led by the abbot, Preah Kru Vutthi (ព្រះគ្រូ វុទ្ធី), and was paid for by the Wat and some donors.[1] It was done by villagers[1] or by monks and villagers.[2] The abbot said the repair was meant to ease the journey of Buddhists coming from near and far to make merit and place offerings (ដាក់បិណ្ឌ) at the Wat.[1]
