Wat Arinhikaram (វត្តអារញ្ញិការាម) is a Buddhist Wat in Kampong Chhnang sangkat, Kampong Chhnang city, Kampong Chhnang, Cambodia.[1]
Religious life
On the afternoon of February 12, 2025, the provincial administration held a Meak Bochea ceremony at the Wat.[1] Bun Sophy, deputy governor of the province, took part together with members of the provincial council, the provincial chief monk (ព្រះមេគណខេត្ត), provincial monk officials (ព្រះមន្រ្តីសង្ឃខេត្ត), heads of provincial departments, local authorities and many Buddhists.[1]
On January 19, 2025, the ceremony opening the exam papers for the certificate in ធម្មវិន័យពុទ្ធិកបឋមសិក្សា (បាលីរង) was held at the exam center at the Wat.[2] Sor Leang, head of the provincial Department of Cults and Religion, spoke at the ceremony, which the provincial Sangha council (គណសង្ឃខេត្ត), ministry delegates and monastic students (សមណសិស្ស) took part in.[2]
