Wat Ballang Chea (វត្តបល្ល័ង្កជា) is a Buddhist Wat in Chantrei commune, Romeas Haek district, Svay Rieng.[1]
History
The Wat was built in 1873 and has had 15 generations of abbots.[1]
Religious life
On June 21, 2026, the governor of Svay Rieng inaugurated new works at the Wat. Provincial deputy governors, heads of provincial departments and units, the district administration and council, donors, teachers, pupils and elderly people took part, more than 600 people in all. The governor also gave funds toward building at the Wat and gifts to those who attended.[1]
