Wat Bot Sala (វត្តបត់សាលា) is a Buddhist Wat in Bot Sala village, Chheu Teal commune, Banan district, Battambang province, Cambodia.[1]
History
Its formal name is printed both as វត្តព្រះពុទ្ធជ័យមង្គល and as វត្តពុទ្ធជយមង្គល (Wat Puth Chey Mongkol), and it is also called Wat Sala.[1][2]
Religious life
In 2025 the Wat received the Battambang provincial administration's joint Kathin offering. On the afternoon of October 7, 2025, officials and lay followers gathered at the provincial hall, where monks chanted blessings and preached. On the morning of October 8, the governor Sok Lou, the council president Uy Ri and officials carried the Kathin in procession to the Wat. More than 200 million riel was offered to the monks who had kept the rains retreat there, to build kuti (monks' residences) and other works.[2]
