On July 9, 2025, Neth Pheaktra (នេត្រ ភក្ត្រា), the Minister of Information, and a working group brought Vassa candles (ទៀនចំណាំព្រះវស្សា) for the monks keeping Vassa at 12 Wats in Kratie town. The ceremony for them took place at the Wat.[1] Another ceremony the same day, at Wat Muni Sakor (Chhlong), covered 23 Wats in Chhlong district.[1]
