Wat Chheur Teal is a Buddhist Wat in Battambang province, Cambodia.[1] It is also called Chheur Teal Pagoda.[1]
Religious life
As of October 3, 2026, the monks and the people around the area in Banon district faced difficulty because of floods.[1] The Wat had not held its Pchum Ben celebration for two days and had been flooded for three nights and four days.[1] The water in the Wat receded slightly on September 29.[1]
Venerable Nhoem Chanrithik bought a few boats and provided small trucks so that people could travel around the area and continue the traditional occasion.[1] The Wat was rearranging the celebration as the water had gone down a little.[1] Once the flood receded, a number of people were expected to come to offer meals and hampers to its 60 monks.[1] The Wat had also stocked more meals in case the flood returned.[1]
