Wat Damrei Is (Tuek Phos)

Wat Damrei Is (វត្តដំរីស, also called វត្តសុវណ្ណពុទ្ធារាម) is a Buddhist Wat in Chiep commune, Tuek Phos district, Kampong Chhnang, Cambodia.[1]
Religious life
On the morning of September 15, 2025, Chhay Rithisen, minister of Rural Development, and his wife, together with leaders and officials of the ministry, took part in the eighth turn (វេនទី៨) of Kan Ben (កាន់បិណ្ឌ) at the Wat and at Wat Phnom Dasapit in Samakki Meanchey district.[1] They paid homage to the Triple Gem (ព្រះរតនត្រ័យ), took the precepts (សីល), gave alms (រាប់បាត្រ) and presented offerings to the monks.[1] The Kan Ben and Pchum Ben of 2025 ran from September 8 to September 22, 2025.[1]
The Wat stands in Chhak Ndaol village.[1]
