វត្តធម្មសាមគ្គី
Wat Dhamma Sameaky (វត្តធម្មសាមគ្គី) is a Khmer Buddhist Wat on Stuart Street in Canley Vale, Sydney, New South Wales, Australia.[1][2] Its community counts it as one of five Khmer Wats in Sydney.[1]
History
The Wat belongs to the Salvation and Cambodian Culture Association of NSW, which was founded on April 30, 1996.[1] The association has been a registered charity since 2012.[3]
Religious life
The Wat follows the Theravada tradition.[2] In 2025 four monks lived at the Wat, and it held its Kathina robe-offering festival that year. Lay followers take the precepts at 6:30 a.m. on each Buddhist holy day, and monks teach the Dhamma on holy days and on Saturdays and Sundays.[1] As of 2026, the abbot was Venerable Phalla Lonh.[4]
