Wat Kampong Tralach (វត្តកំពង់ត្រឡាច) is a Buddhist Wat in Prey Thom sangkat, in the city of Kep, Cambodia.[1]
Religious life
The Wat was the examination center in Kep for the 2024 to 2025 Dhamma-Vinaya certificate examinations (ការប្រឡងវិញ្ញាបនបត្រធម្មវិន័យ). The examinations were held there, in four subjects: Buddhist teachings, the life of the Buddha, monastic discipline and Buddhist proverbs. A total of 92 monastic students registered. The papers were sealed on January 5, 2025, with the Kep provincial chief monk (ព្រះមេគណខេត្ត) and the Kep deputy governor attending. A delegation from the Ministry of Cults and Religion oversaw the examination.[2]
