Religious life
During Pchum Ben, the 15-day festival for ancestors, lay people hold Kan Ben (កាន់បិណ្ឌ, Kan Ben), daily turns of offerings to the monks. On September 11, 2025, the fourth day, General Rath Sreang and the government working group for Khan Dangkao brought offerings to the monks of the Wat.[2] On July 26, 2026, the same working group brought Vassa candles, funds and gifts to the monks spending the three-month rains retreat at the Wat.[1]
