Wat Khyang Cheung

Wat Khyang Cheung (វត្តខ្យាងជើង) is a Buddhist Wat in Svay commune, Samakki Meanchey district, Kampong Chhnang.[1]
Religious life
On the morning of October 8, 2026, Chhay Rithisen (ឆាយ ឫទ្ធិសែន), minister of Rural Development, and the accompanying delegation brought offerings and donations to take part in the twelfth turn (វេនទី១២) of Kan Ben (កាន់បិណ្ឌ) at six Wats, three in Svay commune, Samakki Meanchey district, and three in Tang Krasang commune, Tuek Phos district.[1] The delegation also presented offerings and donations to the abbots who came from four other Wats of the two communes: Wat Khyang Cheung (វត្តខ្យាងជើង) and Wat Hang Chhuk (វត្តហង្សឈូក) in Svay commune, and Wat Kongkaram (វត្តគង្គាររាម) and Wat Santivoan (វត្តសន្តិវ័ន្ដ) in Tang Krasang commune.[1] The Kan Ben and Pchum Ben (ភ្ជុំបិណ្ឌ) of 2026 ran from September 27 to October 11, 2026.[1]
