Wat Kiri Borvong
វត្តគិរីបរវង្ស
Wat Kiri Borvong (វត្តគិរីបរវង្ស) is a Buddhist Wat in Borvong village, Sangkat Chamraeun Phal, Pursat city, Cambodia.[1]
History
The Wat stands on a hill with grounds of 145 ha (358 acres). It was founded in 2004 under the monk Kriv Sophal, its abbot. Its stone vihara measures 12 by 9 m (39 by 30 ft).[1]
Religious life
On March 30, 2025, a deputy governor opened the new vihara and other works, worth more than US$2 million.[1] On July 1, 2025, ahead of the rains retreat, the provincial leadership brought Vassa candles, rice and money to the Wat.[2]
