Wat Kol Totueng

វត្តនិគ្រោធវ័ន

Wat Kol Totueng (វត្តនិគ្រោធវ័ន, Wat Nigrodhavan) is a Buddhist Wat in Koh Krabei village, Prek Thmei, Chbar Ampov, Phnom Penh.[1][2]

Religious life

As of 2026, the abbot was Preah Kru Mongkol Thommakich Phuong Sovann, who already led the Wat in 2019. Samdech Kou Sopheap held the Wat's title of Preah Kru Sot Sdam (senior chanting master).[1][3]

The Wat receives groups for teaching and meditation. On August 10, 2025, at the start of Vassa, about 250 members of a women's association learned about the rains retreat from a monk sent by Samdech Kou Sopheap, then meditated and chanted.[2] On August 30, 2026, Samdech Kou Sopheap led a meditation session and gave a teaching for a women's association of the Ministry of Tourism.[4]

On September 11, 2026, the foundation stone of a one-story reception hall, 8 m by 16 m (26 by 52 ft), was laid at the Wat in the presence of Samdech Am Lim Heng, Supreme Patriarch of the Mahanikaya order, and 222 monks.[1]
