Wat Muni Sovann
វត្តមុនីសុវណ្ណ
Wat Muni Sovann (វត្តមុនីសុវណ្ណ, Wat Muni Sovann), also called Wat Chompuh Kaek (វត្តចំពុះក្អែក), is a Buddhist Wat in Prek Thmei, Chbar Ampov, Phnom Penh.[1]
Religious life
As of 2025, the abbot was Samdech Preah Moha Sumedhadhipati Am Lim Heng, Supreme Patriarch of the Mahanikaya order.[2] On March 24, 2025, the Wat's Dhamma hall hosted a great offering to 775 senior monks.[3] On October 18, 2025, Minister of Cults and Religion Chay Borin joined the chanting that opened the Wat's Kathina, the robe offering at the end of the rains retreat.[1] The next day the Kathin procession circled the vihara (main sanctuary) before the robes were offered to the monks.[2]
