Wat Phnom Reap (Kep)

វត្តបវរពិសិដ្ឋ

Wat Phnom Reap (វត្តបវរពិសិដ្ឋ, Wat Bavor Pisith) is a Buddhist Wat in Chamkar Bei village, Pong Tuek commune, Damnak Changaeur district, Kep, Cambodia.[1]

Religious life

On the morning of October 12, 2025, the people of Kep held a joint Kathina (កឋិនទាន, Kathen Tean) offering for the monks who had kept the three-month rains retreat at the Wat. The provincial council, officials, the armed forces and lay people from near and far took part. After the homage to the Triple Gem, the taking of the precepts, blessings and a sermon, the procession carried the Kathina offering to the Wat, walked around the main hall and presented it to the monks. The 100 million riel raised was given toward finishing the main hall and other buildings.[1]
