Religious life
During Pchum Ben, the 15-day festival for ancestors, lay people hold Kan Ben (កាន់បិណ្ឌ, Kan Ben), daily turns of offerings to the monks. On the morning of September 14, 2025, the seventh day, the provincial administration brought food to the monks at the Wat and joined the alms round and the bangskol (a rite in which monks chant for the dead).[1]
