Wat

Wat Po Lanka (វត្តពោធិលង្កា) is a Buddhist Wat in Sla Kram commune, Siem Reap, Cambodia.[1]

History

The APSARA National Authority, which manages the Angkor area, has repaired and conserved the Wat's old buildings.[2]

Religious life

As of 2025, the abbot was Preah Kru Vichitrakaranurakkhapal Pin Chantra.[1] On October 26, 2025, the Wat's achar (lay ritual leaders), committee and lay followers from Siem Reap and other provinces held its Kathina robe offering. The procession went through the streets of the town and around the vihara (main hall), and the Wat received 156 sets of robes. The offerings support the monks and novices who live and study at the Wat, and part pays for new buildings.[1]

On December 19, 2025, lay followers of the Wat cooked meals together and took them to patients in hospitals in Siem Reap.[3]
